A good start to my 2024 wrap-around season

Dec 20, 2023

Winning my Tour card back with a T3 placing after 6 tough rounds, all under par, at the 2023 Q-school was a great confidence boost and I headed off S. Africa for the first 3 events of the 2024 season feeling good.
I knew I was playing well and ending T9 in the first event, the Joburg Open was a good beginning.
At the Investec I started well and made thecut easily but two scrappy final rounds with too many dropped shots meant I finished down the field T56.

Alfred Dunhill Championship

Knowing there was more to come I headed to the iconic Leopard Creek for the Alfred Dunhill Championship.
After a reasonable start a bit of an untidy R2 meant I made the cut with a couple of strokes to spare but my final round of 5 under, bogey-free, lifted me up to a T4 finish and the top-10 in the Race to Dubai standings.

I had already decided not to play Mauritius the following week so I headed home for the year-end break with a positive feel, looking forward to the start of 2024.
